Description

You need some basic patterns to start with your armor? In my ‘Male Armor Pattern Collection‘ you’ll find some help! Inside my armor collection you’ll find basic patterns for the following armor pieces:

  • Helmet
  • Gorget
  • Pauldron
  • Upper Arm Guard
  • Bracer
  • Breastplate
  • Leg Armor
  • Shin Armor
  • Sabaton

Based on a male body of 6’1″ and 167 lbs. These are basic simple patterns you can print and adjust to your own needs.

I recommend using 10mm and 5mm low-density EVA foam (high density works too) as well as contact cement to create these pieces. Check out my blog entry for EVA foam armor to learn everything you need to know! It’s super easy and incredible fun to create a costume! Other materials (like Worbla) work as well of course! You can find more instructions on how to make costume pieces and props in my tutorial books or on my YouTube channel.

The Male Armor Pattern Collection is a PDF download. After your purchase you will get a separate “order complete” email, in which you will find your download link. If you have trouble getting the files to work, please contact shop@kamuicosplay.com!

  1. Kobe

Great patterns, one change, cut off the bottom half of the chest piece so it works as functional armor, it should end just below the ribs, I’d recommend looking at historical pieces and modifying it yourself to fit your needs, and that’s the joy of creation
